Give us a call, schedule a time, put on a mask, and come in!
Winfield Public Library is pleased to announce its move from Phase 3 of the library building’s reopening plan to Phase 4 which includes continuation of curbside services as well as the addition of in-library browsing and computer use by appointment. As the county’s COVID numbers continue to decline, additional services and no-appointment hours will follow, with the final goal of a Phase 5 return to standard business.
During this phase, masked adult-only patrons with appointments will have 25 minutes to select books, copy, and fax at their scheduled times. Computer usage time slots are available for vital usage such as job needs and various applications and printing. Masks are required to enter the library and must be worn at all times while inside the library to keep shared library materials and spaces as safe as possible for all. Also during this phase, certain areas in the library will not initially be available including bathrooms, the genealogy computer, children’s play area, and youth computers. These areas will become available at a later time.
For the safety of patrons and staff, wearing a mask is required inside WPL. Masks must cover nose and mouth. What if I have a medical condition or disability and can’t wear a mask, or I don’t want to wear a mask?
