October: a Young Adult Book (type “young adult” in the keyword search in the WPL online catalog to browse our YA selection)
In 2020, WPL is challenging you to read something different, something new to you. Each month we will unveil a topic and encourage you to read a book that fits into that topic.
Participate as you can; take on one, two or all twelve challenges. While WPL is closed due to the Coronavirus, check out an ebook through Sunflower (choose Winfield Public Library and use your WPL library card number) or the Kansas State Library (you will need a Kansas State Library card; email us at email@example.com and we can help).
Let us know that you met the monthly challenge – either through Beanstack (an online reader service through wpl.org) OR by filling out and returning a hard copy of a book review; if you can’t or don’t want to print out our book review, make your own. Hold on to the reviews until we reopen and then we will pull an adult’s and child’s name for a prize.
