Story Times

“Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.” -Emilie Buchwald

Story Times for Growing Minds
Singing, talking, rhyming and reading to young children builds important connections in their rapidly developing brains.

The library offers fun, free interactive early learning opportunities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.  Library story times are designed to help develop the Six Pre-Reading Skills in children.  They are 30 minute sessions including stories, rhymes, and songs that nurture your child’s growing mind and help build the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Join us for a fantastic story adventure every week (in the children’s area of the newly renovated side of the library)!
