Story Times

“Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.” -Emilie Buchwald

The library offers a variety of fun, relaxed and friendly story times for children of all ages throughout the year.  The winter/spring sessions are held every Wednesday from January 30 – April 3, 2013.

Story times are interactive, playful and free of charge!  Designed to help develop the Six Pre-Reading Skills in children, they include songs, rhymes, action and stories. In addition to story times for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, we offer funny stories for elementary-aged children (and siblings) after school on Wednesdays, and a weekend story time every second Saturday of the month.

No registration for story times–  Join us when you can and enjoy the adventures provided by great books and lively story telling!  While you are here, stock up on great books to enjoy at home!

  • Preschool Story Times (ages 3 years – 5 years): 10:30 am – 11:00 am, Wednesdays
  • Afternoon Story Club (silly stories for children ages 3-11): 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm, Wednesdays
