Ad Astra Kids STEAM Club, grades K-5

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”
– Albert Einstein

Embracing Curiosity

Asking “why” is an important part of learning for children. They genuinely want to know answers to their questions about the world around them. We want kids to become creative thinkers and problem solvers while having fun!

In this program, elementary age children will be challenged with STEAM activities and explore through open play and instructed activities. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

Join us after school for a new challenge and activity each week.

Fall 2017:

Ad Astra Kids: Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Tuesdays, Oct. 3 – Nov. 21
4:30pm – 5:15pm

The official state motto of Kansas is the Latin phrase Ad Astra per Aspera (To the Stars through Difficulties). We felt this was a fitting name to encourage determination and creativity to problem solving.  To the stars!
