OCLC First Search  combines magazine and journal articles with other databases. World Cat is a world wide listing of books held by libraries, GPO  (Government Publications Office) is a great place for government information and pamphlets. Also available: World Almanac, ERIC and Medline. For a general search through magazines like the library subscribes to try Article First or Wilson's Select.
