Support WPL

Winfield Public Library is your community library. It is your support that makes this library great, and there are many ways to get involved.

Friends of the Winfield Public Library is a nonprofit advocacy group that supports the library. With funds raised through book sales, annual dues and special projects the Friends provide support for programs such as the Summer Reading Program for children, special exhibits and building landscaping. Friends help with the annual used book sale, exhibits, special programs and promote public involvement in the library. To find out more about the Friends group contact Sue at 221-4470.

The Winfield Public Library Endowment Fund was established in 2004 under the umbrella of the Legacy Community Foundation. The goal of the fund is to support the library in addressing emerging community needs through innovation. The library and the foundation work closely together to provide enrichment opportunities for the community, leveraging private funds to have the greatest impact without supplanting the public responsibility of funding a strong library.

The Library also welcomes volunteers to assist with a variety of services as varied as Summer Reading Program, special exhibits and gardening.
