The Museum of World Treasures from Wichita has installed a new exhibit on the Civil War at the Winfield Public Library. The exhibit will be at the library through December 6.
You can see clothing and swords from the North and the South. The weapons display case has guns and a small cannon! There are even $10 and $20 bills from back then. Come and learn about the Civil War and the important role Kansas played at that time in history.
Make sure to answer the questions for prizes on the scavenger hunt for adults and teens.
Open to the public. Exhibit open during library hours: Monday – Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 1-5pm. For more information call 221-4470 or visit www.facebook.com/WinfieldLibrary.
